Pravs World >> Why Can’t You

Written by pravsj on Monday, July 30th, 2007 in Attitude, Belief, Determination, How To Live, Pravs World.

Why Can’t You

At times, even the Sun’s brightness is overshadowed by clouds.
Why can’t yours?

However dark and dense the clouds may be, Sun will shine back. And it will shine the brightest.
Why can’t you?

Why Can’t You

Text Mail >> Remain United

Remain United

A farmer who had a quarrelsome family called his sons and told them to lay a bunch of sticks before him. Then, after laying the sticks parallel to one another and binding them, he challenged his sons, one after one, to pick up the bundle and break it.

They all tried, but in vain. Then, untying the bundle, he gave them the sticks to break one by one. This they did with the greatest ease. Then said the father, “Thus, my sons, as long as you remain united, you are a match for anything, but differ and separate, and you are undone.

Poem Book >> Start Where You Stand

Written by pravsj on Monday, July 30th, 2007 in Difficulties, Experience, Failure, Poem Book.

Start Where You Stand

Start where you stand and never mind the past,
The past won’t help you in beginning new,
If you have left it all behind at last
Why, that’s enough, you’re done with it, you’re through;
This is another chapter in the book,
This is another race that you have planned,
Don’t give the vanished days a backward look,
Start where you stand.

The world won’t care about your old defeats
If you can start anew and win success,
The future is your time, and time is fleet
And there is much of work and strain and stress;
Forget the buried woes and dead despairs,
Here is a brand new trial right at hand,
The future is for him who does and dares,
Start where you stand.

Old failures will not halt, old triumphs aid,
To-day’s the thing, to-morrow soon will be;
Get in the fight and face it unafraid,
And leave the past to ancient history;
What has been, has been; yesterday is dead
And by it you are neither blessed nor banned,
Take courage, man, be brave and drive ahead,
Start where you stand.

Pravs World >> Leading Through Life

Written by pravsj on Saturday, July 28th, 2007 in How To Live, Life, Living Today, Pravs World.

Leading Through Life

Life is divided into three terms.
The one which was, which is and which will be.

Learn from the past to profit the present;
And from the present to live better for future.

Its the best way to lead yourself through life.

Pravs World >> I Hold The Key

Written by pravsj on Saturday, July 28th, 2007 in Attitude, Belief, How To Live, Pravs World.

I Hold The Key

My will shall shape the future. Whether I fail or succeed shall be no man’s doing, but my own. I am the force; I can clear any obstacle before me or I can be lost in the maze.

My choice; my responsibility; Wining or losing;
Only I hold the key to my destiny.

Text Mail >> Piece of Cake

Piece of Cake

The Cake : A beautiful way to look at life!
Sometimes, dont we wonder “What did I do to “Why did God have to do this to me”.

Here is a God sent explnation!!!

A little boy is telling his Grandma how evrything is going wrong.

School, family problems, severe health problems, etc.

Meanwhile, Grandma is baking a cake. She asks her grandson if he would like a snack, which, of

course, he does.

“Here, have some cooking oil.”

“Yuck says the boy.

“How about a couple raw eggs?”

“Gross, Grandma!”

“Would you like some flour then? Or maybe baking soda?”

“Grandma, those are all yucky!”

To which Grandma replies: “Yes, all those things seem bad all by themselves. But when they are put

together in the right way, the make a wonderfully delicious cake!

God works the same way. Many times we wonder why He would let us go through such bad and difficult

times.

But God knows that when He puts these things all in HIs order, they always work for good! We just

have to trust Him and, eventually, they will all make something wonderful!

God is crazy about you. He sends you flowers every spring and a sunrise evry morning. Whenever you

want to talk, He’ll listen. He can live anywhere in the universe, and He chose your heart.

Hope you enjoy this “piece of cake!”

Poem Book >> Friends Like You

Written by pravsj on Saturday, July 28th, 2007 in Friendship, Poem Book.

Friends Like You

The days of cloud or sunshine,
The moments that we share,
The timely word, the thoughtful line,
The note that says “I care”

Mean more to me than I can say,
So it’s time, I think, you knew,
How much it brightens up my day,
To have a friend like you!

When I think of you what comes to mind,
Is all the great times we’ve shared.
You’re one of those special people,
Who make life worth living,

Because you’ve taken the time to care!
When I feel a little blue,
The easiest thing for me to do,
Is remember that things really can’t be,
All that bad when I have wonderful friends like you!

Pravs World >> God Has Promised

Written by pravsj on Tuesday, July 24th, 2007 in Belief, God, Hope, Life, Pravs World.

God Has Promised

God has not promised;
Skies always blue, Sun without rain.
Joy without sorrow, Peace without pain.

But God has promised;
Strength for the day,
Rest for thr labor,
Light for the way.
Grace for trails,
Help from above,
Unfailing sympathy,
Undying love.
God Has Promised

Text Mail >> The “Be” Attitudes

Written by pravsj on Tuesday, July 24th, 2007 in Attitude, How To Live, Life, People, Relations, Text Mail.

The “Be” Attitudes

Be understanding to your enemies.
Be loyal to your friends.

Be strong enough to face the world each day.
Be weak enough to know you cannot do everything alone.

Be generous to those who need your help.
Be frugal with that you need yourself.

Be wise enough to know that you do not know everything.
Be foolish enough to believe in miracles.

Be willing to share your joys.
Be willing to share the sorrows of others.

Be a leader when you see a path others have missed.
Be a follower when you are shrouded by the mists of uncertainty.

Be first to congratulate an opponent who succeeds.
Be last to criticize a colleague who fails.

Be sure where your next step will fall, so that you will not tumble.
Be sure of your final destination, in case you are going the wrong way.

Be loving to those who love you.
Be loving to those who do not love you; they may change.

Above all, be yourself.

Poem Book >> Heartprints

Written by pravsj on Tuesday, July 24th, 2007 in Friendship, People, Poem Book, Relations.

Heartprints

Whatever our hands touch—
We leave fingerprints!
On walls, on furniture,
On doorknobs, dishes, books,
As we touch we leave our identity.

Oh please where ever I go today,
Help me leave heartprints!
Heartprints of compassion
Of understanding and love.
Heartprints of kindness
and genuine concern.

May my heart touch a lonely neighbor
Or a runaway daughter,
Or an anxious mother,
Or, perhaps, a dear friend!

I shall go out today
To leave heartprints,
And if someone should say
“I felt your touch,”
May that one sense be…YOUR LOVE
Touching through ME.

This is to all the wonderful people
I have met!

I offer you my hand in friendship
so that when you reach out in times of need,
you can be certain that I’ll always be there.
when it returns to you,
you’ll know who’ll be your friends for life!!!
