If you are ever going to love me; love me now.
While I can know the sweet and tender feelings
from which true affections flows.
Love me now while I am living. Do not wait until I am gone.
To have those sweet words chiseled in marble on ice-cold stone.
If you have tender thoughts of me, please let me know now.
Not when I am not there.

I always try to tell this to my loved ones.. but never got the right words… here it is.. really tru one! If at all you love someone.. shower them with it when they are alive.. dont wait until they are gone to express it..

Very touchy & so very true! As I now walk on my final journey silently, I wish my dear one to whom I tried to explain this asking to be gentle & caring to me, understands that one needs love, care, gentleness NOW not in words etched on a tombstone..
