I agree that it is a grave danger. I think however that an even greater danger is that we do not take aim at all, but merely hope that what we desire is achieved without actively setting targets and pursuing a goal.

Always set your goals high above what you can achieve, so whenever you do, or reach something; it would not be your goal.

if you want to grasp a star, you have to shoot for the moon! if you fail, you will land among the stars.

if you want a flower, you don’t try to make it with bits of paper & glue…but rather devote your labor & intelligence, prepare the ground, then put a seed and let it grow…
