Wow!
Last spring I was walking in a park. A short distance ahead of me was a mom and her three-year-old daughter. The little girl was holding on to a string that was attached to a helium balloon.
All of a sudden, a sharp gust of wind took the balloon from the little girl. I braced myself for some screaming and crying.
But, no! As the little girl turned to watch her balloon go skyward, she gleefully shouted out, Wow!
I didn’t realize it at that moment, but that little girl taught me something.
Later that day, I received a phone call from a person with news of an unexpected problem. I felt like responding with Oh no, what should we do But remembering that little girl, I found myself saying, Wow, that’s interesting! How can I help you
One thing’s for sure - life’s always going to keep us off balance with its unexpected problems. That’s a given. What’s not preordained is our response. We can choose to be frustrated or fascinated. No matter what the situation, a fascinated Wow! will always beat a frustrated Oh, no.
So the next time you experience one of life’s unexpected gusts, remember that little girl and make it a Wow! experience. The Wow! response always works.

This morning everything went wrong for me. After sorting out all of it, I sit down to check my mail and I see the “WOW” story in my mailbox waiting to teach me that things going wrong is normal. What a timing!!! WOW!!!

Hi there, Infact things do happen wether or not we like them therefore, a good attitude is to accept open heartedly. I’ld like to share a stanza from the song “Mera Jevan Kora Kaghaz” by great singer “Kishore Da”

A soilder lost his one leg in war every body was upset about his fate , but even in pain he said that he is happy that now onwards he has polish only on shoe, so there is hope always in loss.
This is a Great approach. Kids can give us great lessons of life, if we study their behaviors carefully.
We did pass through same, but by beliefs & customs dumped by society, we got changed and become more and more vulnerabie!
And thats why someone has adviced: Spend asmuch time as possible, with kids less then 6yr and with seniors above 70yrs.
Thanks again for such a highly inspiring story.

The WOW attitude is the perfect thing we can have in our life. We try to make things look the way we want them to see. If we try to build a very simple relationship with everything, then these things wont happen at all…
